Two of my oldest and closest friends tied the knot on a blustery Autumn afternoon at the historic Fort Scratchley in Newcastle East. Usually at this venue, people have there ceremony on a big grassy hill overlooking the ocean. But the wind had other plans! Instead they had it in the old barracks, which I think made it so much more unique, giving the day an industrial vibe.
There's something really special about capturing friend's weddings. People always ask, "wouldn't you rather just be a guest so you can enjoy yourself?" My answer is always the same. For one, I get to be a huge part of their day, doing what I love and capturing such special memories for my friends. And for two, I've probably drank more beers than you!!
